on saturday i smoked up 3 racks of baby backs w/ SM rub, and roxys glaze

Rubbed 1 rack with Simply Marvelous Cherry, and the other two with the Spicy Apple

Then i went to the parents house, and my dad and i cooked some chicken lollipops

some quail

mom fried up some wings

mini baked potatoes and homemade bread

all plated up with some chunky blue cheese to dip the wings in.

thanks zski

generikal-i cut through the skin to the bone around the base of the bone, then pushed all of the meat to the end of the drumstick. I did that by turning it upside down with the meat-end of the drumstick pressed against the cutting board, and pushed it all down till it looked like a lollipop;

Awesome!

I'll def be trying that next time. I often buy drumsticks as they are very cheap, tasty and mobile.

Thanks for the idea!

on the baby backs there wasnt much of a smoke ring... nearly non existant. I used a healthy dose of hickory, and i usually always have a ring in my smoked meats. Any reason why these wouldnt? Smoked em for 3 hours
