My backyard appears to be a bit larger than usual on mowing days. I must have started this project on one of those days. It turns out that my fab project had that ability as well. After going a couple of weeks without a single whiff of weld smoke, a splatter burn, or the sweet sound of a lit torch, I had to burn something. With no 24" pipe to be found, I figured a little chunk of 30" would make a nice backyarder to play with. Somehow, somewhere, sometime into the build, the mowing day syndrome kicked in. The tools, hoist, and sawhorses seemed to be shrinking during the build. It was just a lil ol backyard smoker. About 1,400 # later.... Rolling Eyes Smile &%$@ backyard needs mowing again Laughing

Wreckless, Thanks for the pics. I've decided to make my 500 with the same squared out chamber. Between room and no overhead door lift I think that is the way to go. Big (literally) question would be the size of that style door on the long tank.

How long are yours and do they want to sag? Love the duelly wheel setup, for weight or stability?

Thanks.

Mike, once again, you have outdone yourself on a build bro. That thing is a beast and I think I might have mentioned that a time or two from day one Laughing It turned out awesome! What it really needs is a tandem axle trailer setting under it, maybe a "matching" grill beside it Wink Just a thought...

Hell Fire Grill...UH-HUH Laughing

outdoorsfellar...Thanks! Smile

GreenSmoker... The doors were 26" long, about 45# in all, each. Nope, no sag, not even trying to, the 7" bullet hinges seem to have it handled just fine, pretty stout stuff. I've had good results with them. The dually's were for weight mostly, the air kept trying to go to the top of the wheels with the singles. Wink I'll be watching your build, good luck.

Thank you Chuck! Yup, gotta appreciate a nice back side, eh? I spent some time there. She's fairly well stacked too. Wink Laughing

Blazer...Thank you! It is a hybrid. I am really liking the option of having both to chose from.

Tuck... Very Happy

Troy...Thanks a lot bud! Very Happy Your enthusiasm throughout the build helped lighten the load on the few occasions I was crazy enough to actually attempt to move it. It got kinda heavy. It rolls nicely with the duallys all around, steering remains a bit sluggish tho. A few more wheels under her and the grill should fit fine. Wink

GF...Thank You! Very Happy It did indeed take a moment or two, or... Rolling Eyes yeah, I was there awhile.

Logtrucker...muy apreciada on the kudos. Good luck with your build. Very Happy

Thanks Maniac! I hadn't figured on the grunt noises carrying more than a block or two. Shocked And to think I was more worried about it being blown around like a rag doll by the wind. No? Wink Laughing

Thank you much for the kudos and the visit, slapout! Good to hear from you. Very Happy Still tinkering and fidgeting with chunks of steel in my shop and occasionally producing a chunk of steel with a purpose. This was one of the larger chunks. Be well, happy hunting and watch your butt. Wink Cool
