|
|
| I got a remote digital and want to use it to get an accurate temp at the level of the meat on the grate. Can I just sit the probe directly on the grate or is there some other trick? Thanks for any help |

Stick it through half a potato and set level half on grate. _________________ Akorn

| I've also made a holder out of a piece of foil that I bent up as well. |

The potato works good but check your probe to see if it has an indent towards the point, the indent is where most probes detect the heat so if it is in the tater your going to be off on your temps at least until the tater cooks and gets to temp.
I hope this helps. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.
