I am working on a RF build plan and I've seen some good ideas on grease traps and drains if you have pictures of them let's see them and tell me how they work. I will slope the RF plate from the firebox end to the opposite end and run everything into a trap with a ball valve on it. But not sure on a design.

Nice good idea I was actually interested in the idea of a continuous plate for the top of the fire box and RF plate and sloping it to the end of the chamber with a collection piece of some sort. Saw a picture of one but can't remember which forum or smoker.
