I stopped doing throwdowns awhile back because there is always those
who think they don't need to play by the rules; therefore ruining it for others.
The BS starts and I'm not referring to smack talk, smack talk is fun, but
there again, some people have to take it to far, and then SoEzzy is forced to put a stop to it.
Trust me when I say, he is way more lenient then I would be.
I don't see the need for soliciting in the other topics.
If people are interested in throwdowns they will go to the throwdown section.
They are a lot of members that stay just in Catering, Cookers, Competition BBQ and so on.
So I said that to say this, "You can count me out of the Dessert Throwdown".

Sorry to see that what should just be a fun thing has caused waaaay too much drama and BS. Sad

Without getting into anymore, I'm sorry that alot of un-neccessary BS has caused folks to opt out. I hope you'll re-consider in the future, if you don't, that is understandable.

Guess this is as good a place as any to offer my apologies
for keeping things stirred up in the wrong section, which then led to moving of threads & enforcement of rules..... Embarassed

Try to stay light-hearted, I do............. Laughing

I'll own my part...... Embarassed

I'm in - if there is to be one, that is. Maybe after all this time has passed, people will be more obliging of the rules.

Man its been a while since I have time to think about much more than work. These used to be a hoot.
I would put the hurtin on Denny and Jeepdad would cry like a little girl.
Might need to talk about giving 1 more try.
Whats you guys think? It will have to be a ways off, because Im still not home. But we can work on.

I'm with Whitey - we should try a FUN test throwdown - no points, drama, etc. Just who makes the best whatever.
