I got a whole eye of round from Costco for $17 Very Happy

Cut the center pieces after trimming into steaks for dinner

Reserved the end pieces to make chicken fried steak, since they had somewhat irregular shape. It wouldn’t matter, since they were going to be pounded.

After being punded

Seasoned them and soaked them in buttermilk over night

Coated them in season flour the next day

Getting the new fryer ready for the first time after cleaning

Dropped the steaks in after the temp reach 350

On the griddle, I had some hash browns and eggs cooking Smile

The steaks were done in few minutes and the fryer kept the perfect temp with very little adjustment.

Served with white gravy and biscuits

The steaks and the eggs cooked perfectly Very Happy

Grilled the other steaks later for dinner

Not a bad deal for $17!! And the meat was tender and flavorful!
Overall, it was a great success, the fryer first use was easy and it preformed flawlessly, the food was tasty Very Happy

Hadi, once again my friend you have outdone yourself. Man that looks like a killer meal. That would be great anytime!

You know the house next door to me is for sale now, sure would be nice to have you as a neighbor, I wouldn't complain a bit about anything you did as long as you feed me a couple times a week Laughing
