This is the site that turned me on to discada cooking many thanks for that. I have cooked many pounds of bacon and sausage but still have sticking problems. I wipe clean and rub with rock salt. Any advise would be a great help. |

Are you dry frying the next item you cook, and is that sticking?
Or are you using some bacon grease or oil, and you food is still sticking? _________________ Here's a change Robert.

You need some mighty fine seasoning and low heat for the eggs not to stick much like a well seasoned cast iron skillet. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

I deglaze my disco and use a nylon scrubby to get out any remaining pieces/parts. A light application of some vegetable shortening with a paper towel and some cooking spray will have the next thing sliding around in there. Add back some of the grease or butter if ya want. Be careful when you deglaze as you can get flashed with steam if the disk is really hot. The deglaze will cool down the disk and help the eggs cook more evenly and controllably. |
