So we closed the restaurant a few months ago , we are now looking at getting into the vending scene (mostly due to the lower overhead and no landlord drama). We are using this opportunity to do some rebranding... Here is our new logo drafts, thoughts, ideas, critiques???

I would put the HARDWOOD SMOKED from left to right at the bottom instead of following round in the circle, with the faint lettering it would be easier for customers to read.

Is this easier to read?

Personally, I really like the standing pig better....the squatter looks like he's pooping on the hard wood, and his testicles are hanging out...lol...JUST an observation!

standing pig, and hardwood... left to right, I'd also play with the dark horizontal plank lines in the ring, they tend to distract from the design, at least for me. The plank lines in the pig seem to work.

+1.......You need to play with it, as it's hard to read. Imagine if that was on a sign and you were down the street somewhere.......how easy will it be to recognize?

Good Luck,
Ed

I like it jbass........I'd see what the difference between outlined letters and not are.......It's much easier to read now though.

The last one looks better, but I did like the lines on the pig going the other way (top left to bottom right). Just seemed more visually appealing to me. Maybe consider doing some shading around the lettering so it 'pops' more? Very appealing logo, I like it a lot. Kinda conveys simplicity, yet gets the point across that you're selling good BBQ, IMO. Good luck!

"but I did like the lines on the pig going the other way (top left to bottom right)"

I noticed that too. Also, the original pink color looked better.
