Thank You Flyingj. There will be a wood box, sink and water on the back side. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

In between odd jobs and comps I finally had a Sunday I could do a little to the build.
My daughter is the city secretary for a small town nearby and she asked if I could build her marshal some target stands to qualify his deputy's I was glad to help I built three stands from some tubing and angle iron I had in the back of my shop.
They are two piece. I started them the other day and finished them this morning.
Once I was done with those I built the propane holder for the cooker.

Thank You Smoldering Coals. I had to change up the design a little from my other trailer but it worked well. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

Thank You Flingj. Ya see if you add enough channel iron to the frame it makes it look like a cooker trailer. Wreckless needs to take another look at it. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

Hey, didn't want to trash up your thread, but just from what I could tell on those target stands on your pics, you might have a problem: you generally don't want a surface facing square with the shooter on steel target stuff: the rounds will come right back at the shooter... I generally put some steel just angled down to the ground if i can get away with it in front of any such surface..
On those IPSC targets like that, I have been just building a steel frame that will hold some 1x4 lumber, then staple the target to it; no risk of hitting steel, and I just keep a stack of 1x4's laying around to replace them once they get beat up too bad..
I've also made some of the same targets out of steel, then tilt the whole thing where anything coming back just bounces down; we just get a case of the cheapest white spray paint we can get, and just "touch up" bullet hits between shooters rather than changing cardboard targets. Doesn't help for official scoring, but they're a lot more durable than cardboard for practice. |

I appreciate the input dwilliams35 and will pass it on. These were built to spec by the marshal. He will be using them to qualify his deputy's. They are not for public use. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

KAM by the size of the lock those propane thieves will think twice and I thought Troy would be smiling about your use of square tube, (after he crawled out from under the bus) _________________ RF Smoker

Thank You Maniac. The lock is just one I had hanging out it wont be the user one.
Troy is well aware of all the scrap tubing holding this project together. I did not want to waste Good angle Iron on such petty stuff. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

KAM it looks good. One thing...I think you need more stability for the propane bottle. Either make the ring lower or add a large ring at the bottom. JMTC. BTW I hope you don't cook in any SCA steak cooks near me...Dang them steaks looked good. _________________ Weber Performer 22"

Thank You Cory. I thought about a lower ring and may still put one once clamped down it is solid and cannot move but I may put some sort of base ring to be sure of. Thank you for the compliment on the steaks. Not to worry I am not doing the SCA. Not yet anyway. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

I had some nice weather today so I took advantage of the sun and nothing else on my plate to get a little bit done on the cooker.
First off I put some stops on the base where the propane tank goes.
Then I put my couplings on for my gas lines.
Then I fired up the cooker to see what she would do with some extreme heat. I got her up to about 325° with no problems and started playing with the plates. I was able to get her to with in about 10° to 15° left to right and hold it once she was well heated She will take some learning as the chamber is much thicker than Bahama Mama and a lot smaller.
She was humming with nothing but a heat signature.
This was about all the intake I needed.
While all that was going on I built the front shelf and installed it.

Looking good KAM! When you gonna get that rust bucket blasted and painted? Next thing is you'll have to fill rusted out holes. Kinda like an old S-10 of a former boss's. Passenger side floorboard was rusted through. "Don't put your foot there!" Flintstone's brakes. _________________ "Never trust a skinny cook."
