I am adding a dance floor to an enclosed trailer for the Fraternal Twins for a local team before the KCBS competitions get in full swing.
I used 2 x 2 thin wall box tubing for the frame and 2.5 x 2.5 x 1\4" for the slides.
It turned a 16 foot trailer into a 22.5 foot trailer.
