Hey all,

Just curious how many people have experience & or opinions
on a 85 gallon UDS build?

I currently have four 1 inch intakes, all four with nipples, two
with caps, two with ball valves.

I plan on having a 3" exhaust maybe 10" high.

After reading a few opinions elsewhere Embarassed , I am wondering if this will be
enough intake.

Anyone have real world experience? ...SoEzzy? Smile

The four 1" intakes are plenty Robert. I would keep the 3" exhaust but reduce the top height to 6".

Sounds good Kevin.

I did some research and thought I was good to go. Then I posted a picture
on FB and someone made a comment that got me second guessing.

I can't wait to get it done and light it up! Very Happy

I use 6 x 3/4" holes covered with magnets for intakes, evenly spaced, and I run them with 1 to 1.5 open to ride straight in the 250 - 300° range.

Exhaust I run 8 x 1/2", and run the 2" bung hole open as well, but I don't add a chimney, I'm sure that with a 8 - 10" tall exhaust, you wouldn't need the other 8 holes. You need at least 6" to get it to draft OK.
